Somatic Experiencing® Certified Practitioner

Psychological Support

I provide a safe, supportive, and non‑judgemental space where you can feel understood and at ease. Throughout the process, I accompany you with care, drawing on my professional skills and therapeutic experience to help you explore, process, and integrate your emotions in a way that feels right for you.

Sessions may take the form of:

Consultation and counselling

Sessions usually involve a few meetings focused on counselling, consultation, or crisis intervention—for example, work-related crises, relationship difficulties, or parenting challenges.

What you can gain:

  • Practical advice on the steps to take to resolve a crisis as quickly and effectively as possible.

  • Insight into your unmet needs and guidance on how to address and care for them.

  • Specialist therapeutic and psychological knowledge that you can rely on when making decisions and taking action.

Short-term therapy focused on a specific challenge (up to several sessions)

This type of support is designed to help you navigate life’s challenging moments, whether it’s grieving the loss of a loved one, adjusting to a new work environment, coping with family conflict, or other significant experiences.

In our sessions, I will create a safe and supportive space where you can:

  • Connect with your emotions in your body without feeling overwhelmed.

  • Learn to regulate and contain difficult emotions, helping your nervous system find balance.

  • Tap into your own strengths, talents, and skills, so you can regain a sense of agency and confidence in your life.

The aim is to help you feel more grounded, understood, and empowered as you move through challenges and reclaim a sense of control and well-being.

PTSD Therapy Sessions

This type of support is designed for those who have experienced intense, life-altering events—such as accidents, drowning, surgery, sexual abuse, animal attacks, or for those struggling with fears and phobias, such as fear of flying or spiders.

When an event is too overwhelming, sudden, or difficult to process in the moment, excess energy can become “stuck” in the body. In our sessions, we work to safely release this energy, allowing it to flow through your nervous system and be redirected toward a greater sense of agency, relief, and joy in life.

Clients often report tangible benefits, including:

  • Freedom from fears and phobias

  • Relief from intrusive thoughts and memories

  • Greater peace and emotional balance

  • A renewed sense of vitality

  • Feeling grounded and present in daily life

Through this approach, therapy is not just about processing a difficult event; it is about reclaiming your energy, confidence, and connection to life.

Therapy & Personal Growth – Working with Complex Challenges

This type of help is designed for individuals facing more complex challenges that benefit from a process-based, multidisciplinary approach. I work with a range of difficulties, including:

  • Attention deficits – ADHD (through body-based work)

  • Anxiety and fear – such as generalized anxiety disorder or phobias

  • Emotional instability

  • Being stuck in an emotion or life event – for example, chronic sadness or anger, or difficulty coming to terms with a particular life situation

  • Complex and developmental trauma – including difficult childhood experiences

  • Shame and shyness

  • Low self-esteem – as part of long-term therapeutic work

  • Effects of chronic stress on the body and mind

  • Insomnia and sleep difficulties

What you can gain

Working with your nervous system can lead to a lasting reduction in internal tension and anxiety. Combined with emotional processing, this approach often brings insights and solutions that are difficult to reach through mental effort alone.

By releasing excess energy stored in the body and nervous system—created when past experiences were too intense or difficult to process—we can redirect this energy toward a greater sense of agency, vitality, and joy in life.

Clients often report tangible benefits, such as:

  • Reduced internal tension

  • Alleviation or disappearance of psychosomatic symptoms, including pain, tics, overeating, under-eating, and insomnia

  • A renewed sense of vitality and energy

  • Feeling grounded and fully present in daily life

Once the challenges have been addressed, therapy creates space to listen to your deepest desires and reconnect with what truly matters to you.
