About me
My story
My name is Agnies Suik (full name: Agnieszka Palasz Suik).
Originally from Poland, I studied in Portugal and have since lived and worked in several countries. These experiences have shaped my perspective and deepened my appreciation of cultural diversity.
My own early childhood challenges and emotional sensitivity sparked a deep curiosity about the psychology and personal growth.
These experiences taught me firsthand how profoundly our early life shapes us—and inspired to help others navigate their own journeys.
Today, I am a certified trauma therapist trained in the Somatic Experiencing® method, as well as a crisis intervention specialist and mediator.
I continue to expand my knowledge in neuropsychology and trauma therapy, combining these insights with my lived experience to create a compassionate, safe, and empowering space for every client.
My mission is to guide my clients in reconnecting with the their deep purpose in life, and help in finding calmness, clarity, and joy in life.
I welcome everyone, regardless of culture, faith, or worldview.
My approach is gentle, personalized, and designed to help you navigate challenges, regulate your emotions, and build resilience.

My Approach
I combine Somatic Experiencing® with Solution-Focused Therapy to create a space where healing and growth can truly happen.
Somatic Experiencing® helps to release the effects of trauma and chronic stress stored in the body, while Solution-Focused Therapy empowers you to discover and harness your own unique strengths and resources.
My approach to understanding and communicating with others is rooted in a needs-centred perspective, shaped by my ongoing practice of Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication. This way of working supports a deeper awareness of what is alive in the moment — both within ourselves and in relationship — and allows for empathy, clarity and authentic connection to emerge naturally.
Education and Professional Experience
I completed postgraduate studies in Psychological Counselling and Crisis Intervention at the Institute of Psychology, The Maria Grzegorzewska University in Warsaw, Poland.
In 2025, I was awarded the international title of Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, recognising my three-year training as a trauma therapist in the Somatic Experiencing® method, by the European Association for Somatic Experiencing. I am also a member of the Polish Somatic Experiencing Association.
I have completed both the basic and advanced levels of Solution-Focused Therapy at the ,TSR Centre in Warsaw, Poland as well as an advanced course in Nonviolent Communication at the School of Empathy with Zofia Schacht-Petersen in Warsaw, Poland.
I have gained professional experience through participation in numerous conferences, training programmes, and workshops for therapists, as well as daily practice by conducting therapy sessions with adults, continually developing my skills and knowledge.
